The US State Department today issued a newly revised travel advisory on Sri Lanka instructing American nationals not to travel to Sri Lanka considering the current state of the global pandemic in the country.
“Do not travel to Sri Lanka due to COVID-19. Exercise increased caution in Sri Lanka due to terrorism,” the message said categorizing the threat to Level- 4.
The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) of the US also issued a Level 4 Travel Health Notice for Sri Lanka due to COVID-19, indicating a very high level of COVID-19 in the country.
