The United States Agency for International Development (USAID) has proposed for acceptance its technical guidance for the restructuring of Sri Lanka’s energy sector.
Hence, Minister of Power and Energy Kanchana Wijesekera has tweeted that technical assistance of USAID is at the disposal for both, the restructuring of the energy sector and to develop the roadmap for the transition of the Ceylon Electricity Board (CEB) reforms.
Minister Wijesekera met with Arindam Ghosh the designated consultant last morning (May 08) and the USAID team at the head of attending the development of the roadmap within the next eight weeks.
