The Health authorities have reversed the earlier directive of easing mandatory facemask wearing in public places considering the current mass protests across the country.
Director-General of Health Services Dr Asela Gunawardena said that they have decided to reverse the directive on the use of face masks considering the large public gatherings and protests taking place in the country.
He said that the directive will be effective from tomorrow onwards.
