The vegetable market located at Jaffna town was closed until further notice after nine six traders tested positive for COVID-19 yesterday, Provincial Director of Health Services in North said.
Dr R. Ketheeswaran, Provincial Director of Health Services in North told the reporters that part of the market that includes fruit vendors and sellers of local products is closed until further notice.
Among the 60 tests carried out among the traders, nine tested positive yesterday. More tests are scheduled to be carried out in the market today.
