Student activist Wasantha Mudalige was released on bail by Colombo Fort Magistrate Thilina Gamage today.
The Convenor of the Inter-University Student’s Federation who has spent over 160 days in detention/custody got bail for all three cases with regard to protests.
On Tuesday, Colombo Chief Magistrate’s Court discharged Mudalige from all charges under provisions of the Prevention of Terrorism Act due to lack of supporting terror-related evidence.
