Wet weather alert for Western and Southern provinces
Western province, Galle and Matara districts will experience rains throughout the day, the Meteorology Department forecasted.
Sabaragamuwa, Central and Uva provinces and in Hambantota district will have showers/thundershowers during the evening or night.
The public is requested to stay alert and safe from strong winds and lightning during thundershowers.
