National Freedom Front leader Wimal Weerawansa announced today that he will not be contesting in the upcoming parliamentary election.
In a statement issued today, he said the NFF will neither contest on its own nor along with any other party.
Mr. Weerawansa first entered parliament in 2000 and has served as an MP for 24 years.
