A house-maid who was forced to swallow two iron screws and another iron object while working in Saudi Arabia returned to Sri Lanka this morning.
The woman claimed that she had been forced to swallow the objects after she refused to work after suffering injuries from a fall.
Thirty two year old Ramachandran Dharshani from Matugama had travelled overseas for work in September.
She said that she fell ill after being forced to swallow the objects.
