A woman has been injured in a shooting reported inside a bus in Ambalantota this afternoon.
The gunman had boarded the bus and opened fire, injuring the woman.
Two men on a motorcycle had obstructed the bus and the gunman, boarded the bus.
Police said, the victim was identified as a 45-year-old who was travelling home after a court case in Hambantota.
The injured woman has been admitted to the Hambantota hospital.
Further investigations are underway by the Ambalantota Police.
