A 25 year old youth from Wattala was taken into custody by Terrorism Investigation Department (TID) for promoting separatism using footage and imaged of sain LTTE leader V. Pirabhakaran on a social media platform- Tik Tok, police said.
According to the police, the youth used LTTE propaganda materials to promote the banned terrorist organization in the country. Police also urged the common public to refrain from promoting terrorist outfits in the country.
