Associate of ‘Bloemendhal Sanka’ arrested
An accomplice of organized crime gang member ‘Bloemendhal Sanka’ has been arrested at Aduruppu Street in Pettah today (Feb 27).
Officers attached to the Colombo Central Anti-Corruption Unit had made the arrest at Koriyawatta area in Aduruppuweediya, Pettah.
The suspect identitfied as 41- year-old Ajanul Rahuman Shyam Nozal was arrested with 10g 460mg of heroin in his possession, according to Police.
The suspect is set to be produced before the Maligakanda Magistrate’s Court, today.
Further investigations are underway.
