Actor Ryan Van Rooyen has been further remanded until May 02 after being produced before the Matara Chief Magistrates Court today (Apr 25).
Mr. Rooyen who was previously remanded until today, was in possession of 5.7 grams of kerala cannabis which was found in his car.
During today's hearing, Chief Magistrate Isuru Netticumara had instructed the Weligama Police to submit a report determing whether the suspect was either in the possession or consumption of cannabis.
The actor was handed over to the Weligama Police after 18-hours of questioning by the Criminal Investigations Department (CID) following his deportation on April 04.
