Adverse Weather: Deaths rise to 23
The number of confirmed deaths due to the adverse weather conditions has risen to 23. Ten of the deaths have been reported from the Ratnapura District. The other deaths have been reported from Kalutara, Colombo and Kegalle.
A number of others have been reported missing, mainly due to landslides. Rescue operations are ongoing.
