AG and FCID issued notice to appear in court
The Colombo High Court yesterday issued notice to the Attorney General and the Director of the Police Financial Crimes Investigation Division to appear in court on August 1.
The court issued notice after they were named as among the respondents of the revised bail application filed on behalf of former Economic Development Minister Basil Rajapaksa.
Rajapaksa is currently in remand custody in connection with an alleged multi-million rupee financial fraud committed at the Divi Neguma Department.
