Air Vice Marshal Sumangala Dias appointed as Air Force Commander
Air Vice Marshal Sumangala Dias has been appointed as the new Air Force Commander.
The appointment was made by President Maithripala Sirisena this morning.
Mr. Dias has been appointed as the 17th Air Force Commander.
His appointment comes following the retirement Air Marshal Kapila Jayampathi from the post of Air Force Commander.
