Akila Viraj Kariyawasam takes the train back home

General Secretary of the UNP Akila Viraj Kariyawasam was spotted travelling by train from Kandy to Colombo today (Nov 24).

It is reported that the other passengers on the train were taken by surprise to see a parliamentarian travelling in a public locomotive.

It was later learnt that MP Kariyawasam had taken the train back to Colombo following the UNP rally that was held in Kandy earlier today.
