The Examinations Department says that it would reschedule this year's G C E Advanced Level practical exams if required due to the inclement weather.
Exams Commissioner General Sanath Pujitha said that the practical tests could not be conducted in certain areas due to flooding and heavy rains in the country.
Accordingly, he stated that another date would be provided for the candidates to attempt the exam once the weather improves.
The Meteorological Department has predicted that showers are expected to persist until tomorrow (Sept 25) night.
