The All Ceylon Bus Passengers ' Association (ACBPA) has called for a reduction in bus fares adding that the minimum fare should be reduced by Rs 10 with a reasonable price revision in bus fares following the decrease in fuel prices today (Dec 21).
The ACBPA in a letter to the Chairman of the National Transport Commission (NTC) has set out the above request suggesting that the NTC should intervene in the matter.
The letter also requested a day and time to hold discussions between the NTC and the ACPBA to discuss issues being faced by the latter.
