All Sri Lankans who were arrested in Dubai along with drug kingpin 'Makandure Madush' have been deported to Sri Lanka, according to unconfirmed reports.
Four suspects namely M.N.Mohamed Imran alias 'Kanjipaani Imran', T.H. Anushka Kaushal alias 'Janga', S.A. Amila Sampath, and Anderson Ferdinandez were deported to the country earlier today.
Singer Nadeemal Perera and prisons officer Lalith Kumara were deported to the country yesterday following their arrest in Dubai.
Customs have detected 228 mobile phones and tabs valued at over Rs 30 million left behind in the duty free shopping complex at the Banaranaike International Airport today, Customs officials said.
