The Government has suspended the Public Administration Circular on amending pensions in the Government Service.
A circular issued by S. Hettiarachchi, Secretary to the Ministry of Public Administration notes that the Ministry was suspending implementing provisions of Public Administration Circular 35/2019 issued on 10.12.2019.
The circular notes that Cabinet, which met on January 2, 2020 decided to suspend the circular until anomalies of all pensioners were resolved through upcoming budgets.
