Amith Weerasinghe granted bail

Leader of Mahason Balakaya Amith Weerasinghe who was in remand custody over the unrest in Digana Kandy, has been granted bail by the Theldeniya Magistrate.

Mr Weerasinghe together with eight other suspects was arrested under suspicion of inciting racial tension and violence in relation to the unrest in the Kandy district.
