A stock of ammunition was discovered along the coast of the Peesalai Nadukuda beach in Mannar yesterday (Jan 24).
According to the police, a claymore bomb, bullets, and a rocket launcher were some of the explosives identified amongst the stock of ammunition.
Upon the instructions of the Mannar Magistrates Court, the stock of explosives are currently being investigated by the Police Bomb Disposal Unit and the Peesalai police.
