Minister of Ports, Shipping and Aviation Arjuna Ranatunga was appointed as the Sri Lanka Freedom Party (SLFP) Chief Organizer for Attanagalla electorate by President Maithripala Sirisena today.
Earlier he announced that he had obtained the membership of the SLFP.
Customs have detected 228 mobile phones and tabs valued at over Rs 30 million left behind in the duty free shopping complex at the Banaranaike International Airport today, Customs officials said.
