At least 13 dead due to floods so far

At least 13 deaths have so far been reported and four persons reported missing due to countrywide floods, Home Affairs Minister Vajira Abeywardena says. 

Search and rescue operations are ongoing with the assistance of the tri-forces to rescue persons trapped by floodwaters.
