Attorney General responds to Speaker's letter ; says "inappropriate" to comment on present constitutional crisis
Attorney General Jayantha Jaysuriya, has said that it would be "deemed inappropriate" to provide an opinion on the present constitutional crisis.
AG Jayasuriya made these remarks in a response to Speaker Karu Jayasuirya's letter which required clarification regarding the constitutional crisis.
