The Attorney General’s Office has requested the Court of Appeal today (FEB 26) to grant them a period of 6 months to complete the investigations on Kumaran Padmanadan alias KP.
The court was informed that the investigations against KP have been initiated on 193 charges. Lawyers appearing for the AG's office told the court it would take at least 6 month to complete investigations.
Appeal Court Judge Wijitha Malalgoda deferred the case untilAugust 31 and extended the court ruling on KP from leaving the country.
