The bail applications of former Defence Secretary Hemasiri Fernando and IGP Pujith Jayasundara will be taken up for hearing at the Colombo High Court tomorrow.
Mr. Fernando and Mr. Jayasundara have been charged by the Attorney General for their failure to prevent the Easter Sunday attacks despite receiving intelligence warnings.
The High Court, on October 9, ordered the defendants to be remanded, after overturning a ruling issued by the Colombo Chief Magistrate’s Court to release them on bail.
