Basil re-remanded until May 20

News

Former Economic Affairs Minister Basil Rajapaksa was today further remanded until May 20 by the Kaduwela Magistrate.

Former Secretary of the Ministry Dr Nihal Jayatillaka and former Director General of the Divineguma Department R.A.K Ranawaka were also remanded.

Court ordered that copies of the written submissions by their lawyers be handed over to the Financial Crimes Investigations Department to consult the Attorney General's department on the issue.
