Bell Geospace Inc. wins bid to conduct oil survey in Mannar, Kaveri basins
Cabinet approval has been granted to award Bell Geospace Inc. with a tender to conduct a magnetic and gravity survey on oil and natural gas that is found in the vicinity of the Mannar and Kaveri Basins.
It is believed that oil deposits are found in both Mannar and Kaveri Basins.
Approval to award the tender to Bell Geospace Inc. - an airborne geophysical survey company, was granted after a cabinet paper was put forward by Petroleum Resources Development Minister Kabir Hashim during this week's cabinet meeting.
