Bimal Rathnayake to take the place of Mayadunne
The Janatha Vimukthi Peramuna (JVP) has named Bimal Rathnayake to take the place of National List MP Sarath Chandra Mayadunne who resigned yesterday. Bimal Rathnayake is the National Organizer of the JVP. He contested the recent general election from Gampaha District but failed to enter Parliament JVP General Secretary Tilvin Silva confirmed this to local media today.
