BOI chairman resigns
Board of Investment (BOI) Chairman Mangala P.B. Yapa and the BOI board of directors stepped down on Monday following President Gotabaya Rajapaksa’s resounding victory at Saturday’s polls.
This is in line with several heads of departments and state agencies also expected to resign in the coming days to allow the new president to appoint his own nominees.
