President Maithripala Sirisena has extended by six months the term of office of the commission appointed to investigate, inquire into and report on Treasury Bonds issued during the period 01st February 2015 to 31st March, 2016.
The tem of the Commission will end 08th December, 2017 when its third extension ends.
The Commission as appointed in January 27, 2017 and was extended till July 27 and the up to 27 October for the third time.
The gazette notification giving the extension was issued today by the Secretary to the to the President Austin Fernando.
