Budget Second reading passed, former President Rajapaksa absent during voting
The vote on the second reading of the budget was approved by a mjority of 107 votes today in parliament.
One hundred and fifty nine members voted for as well as 52 against it, while13 were absent.
Among those absent were Former President Mahinda Rajapaksa, Manusha Nanayakkara,Geetha Kumarasinghe and Janaka Bandara Tennakoon.
