A bus carrying 23 COVID positive persons from Maradana to Welikanda treatment centre in Polonnaruwa has collided with another bus, injuring both the drivers.
The head on collision has taken place in Namalgama area on the Polonnaruwa-Batticoloa main road.
Both the injured have been admitted to hospital, while the COVID positive persons have been taken to the treatment centre.
