Anura Lewke, the owner of the five-storey building in Buwelikada that collapsed onto a nearby house killing a family of three, has been arrested.
Police Media Unit stated that the suspect owner was taken into custody after being called to the Kandy police station this morning.
He is due to be produced before the Kandy Magistrate's Court later today.
The collapse of the five-storey building onto the house on September 20 resulted in the deaths of a young couple and their one-and-a-half month old infant.
