C.V. Vigneswarn to form new party ´Tamil People Alliance´
Northern Province Chief Minister C.V. Vigneswarn says he will form a new Political Party to be known as the "Tamil People Alliance" under his leadership.
The Northern Provincial Council held its final session yesterday (October 23) as its term draws to an end with effect from midnight tomorrow (October 25). The current NPC was appointed after the historic elections held in September 2013.
Former Supreme Court Judge C.V. Vigneswaran was appointed as the Chief Minister of the NPC after the Tamil National Alliance won the election
