The Appropriation Bill for 2019 was approved by the Cabinet at a meeting presided by the President today (Dec 7).
Minister Rauff Hakeem, expressing his views in this regard said that the Annual Budget will be submitted before Parliament on March 05.

The price of Lanka Petrol 92 Octane has been reduced by Rs. 5, while the price of Lanka Super Diesel Star Euro 4 has been increased by Rs. 5, from midnight today, October 31, 2025, according to the Ceylon Petroleum Corporation.
