Cabinet has granted approval for Deputy Governor C.J.P. Siriwardena to be appointed as the new Inland Revenue Commissioner General.
Finance Minister Mangala Samaraweera submitted the proposal for the appointment of Mr. Siriwardena at the Cabinet meeting held yesterday.
Mr. Siriwardena has more than 23 years experience at the Central Bank.
