Cabinet approval has been granted to submit the report of the Presidential Commission on SriLankan Airlines, SriLankan Catering and Mihin Lanka to the Attorney General for legal advice.
A proposal to this effect had been put forward by President Maithripala Sirisena during yesterday's cabinet meeting.
The Presidential Commission of Inquiry which investigated into the irregularities of these state bodies had submitted its report to the President last month.
The Commission had listed out 32 observations based on its findings of the irregularities which had taken place between January 1, 2006 and January 31, 2018.
