Captain of MT New Diamond oil tanker fined Rs 12 million
The Colombo High Court today imposed a fine of Rs 12 million on the Captain of the MT New Diamond oil tanker which caught fire off the south eastern coast early last month.
The fine was imposed after the Captain pleaded guilty for the offences.
