Car used in Mt.Lavinia restaurant shooting taken into custody along with driver
The car used by assailants in the drive-by shooting of a restaurant in Mount Lavinia has been taken into police custody along with its driver.
Police Media Unit stated that the driver was arrested along with the car at about 11.45 last night (9) by the Western Province Intelligence Division.
The suspect is a 50-year-old resident of Piliyandala. He has been handed over to the Mount Lavinia Police for further investigations.
