The case against seven individuals including Former Defence Secretary, Gotabaya Rajapaksa's on the misuse of state funds will be taken up before the three member special high court on Jan 11.
The case is in connection to the misuse of funds amounting to Rs 33.9 million in the construction of the D. A. Rajapaksa memorial museum.
The Attorney General informed court that all documents related to the charges have been handed over to the accused. He further added that any other special documentation which would be requested for would be handed over in the future.
Accordingly, it was decided to take up the case on January 11 to ascertain whether the documents have been received by the accused.
