The case filed against former Defence Secretary Gotabhaya Rajapaksa and seven others over the misuse of funds in the construction of the D.A. Rajapaksa memorial museum has been re-fixed for March 15 by the Special High Court.
The preliminary objections to be filed by Harshan De Silva, Abraham Galapththi, and Mahinda Sagala who are the second, fifith and sixth suspects in the case, would be heard when court reconvenes on March 15.
Meanwhile, the attorney representing the sixth suspect Mahinda Sagala had submitted a medical report as evidence to have undergone a medical procedure which was cited as an excuse for not attending the last court hearing on the case.
The case is being heard before a three-member judge bench comprising Justices Sampath Abeykoon, Smapath Wijeratne, and Champa Janaki Rajaratne.
