Case against threatening sibling of Bond Scam case witness fixed for May 26, 2020
The case filed against threatening the sibling of a Bond Scam case witness has been fixed for hearing on May 26, 2020, by the Colombo High Court.
High Court judge Shashi Mahendran, had issued the order, after the case was taken up for hearing today (Nov 8).
Shanil Neththikumara, has been accused of threatening the brother of Anika Wijesuriya, who gave evidence against Power and Energy Minister Ravi Karunanayake in the bond scam case.
Neththikumara, the public relations officer of the Power and Energy ministry, appeared before court today.Three individuals including Wijesuriya, appeared before court as witnesses during the hearing.
