Former President Chandrika Kumaratunga has blamed Maithripala Sirisena for allegedly destroying the SLFP while serving as the president and said that many of them had left the party during the period.
In a letter to the former President she said that many of the senior members in the party were left destitute after two secretaries were appointed illegally and they acted in arbitrary manner taking revenge on members.
She said that she was also treated in unfair manner by removing her illegally.
Mr Kumaratunga said that Mr Sirisena's actions were damaging to the SLFP.
