The body of a Hindu priest with severe cut injuries was found this morning in Pungudutivu, Jaffna, Police said.
Deputy Inspector General (DIG) of Jaffna, P.P.S.M. Senaratne said the victim’s body was found at the temple premises and investigation is taking place to identify the motive of the crime.
The deceased has been identified as Ruben Sharma, Chief Priest of Pungudutheevu Urativu Lord Shiva temple.
