China today (1) handed over essential medical equipment and protective equipment to Sri Lanka to combat COVID-19 in the country. China's Acting Ambassador to Sri Lanka Hu Wei handed over the consignment to Health Minister Pavithra Wanniarachchi.
The equipment includes 50, 000 face masks and 1000 PCR test kits, along with many other essential medical equipment.
Meanwhile, the Chinese Ambassador also handed over 100, 000 masks donated by e-commerce giant Alibaba.
