The tenant management of ‘China Street Food’ at the Colombo City Centre has been terminated with immediate effect after maggots were found in a dish served to a customer over the weekend.
Issuing a special statement, Food Studio (Pvt) Ltd. under which the tenants are a part of said that it was disappointed and extremely apologetic towards the customer who had to undergo this experience. Adding that 'China Street Food' would no longer be apart of the Food Studio's Atrium.
“We wish to take this time to reassure our patrons of the principles and standards that Food Studio continually strives to uphold,” Taitoon Lim, Chairman of Food Studio (Pvt) Ltd. said in a statement.
