Visiting Chinese Ambassador Yi Xianliang assured in Jaffna today that China will extend its fullest support to develop the former war torn areas as two governments shares a cordial relationship.
Ambassador Xianliang met senior higher officials in the region including Governor Reginald Cooray and Chief Minister C.V.Wigneswaran.
Chinese Ambassador said Government of China maintains to continue historical relationship between the two contries. Chinese Government would provide assistance for the develpment of the Northern Province of Sri Lanka.
The Chinese Ambassador also said that the Chinese Government has interested to commence a technical college for Northern students to gain experience in industrial technology.
