Chinese national arrested with illicit foreign liquor worth Rs 5 million
A Chinese national has been arrested with illicit foreign liquor worth Rs 5 million in Colpetty today (Mar 08).
Police said that 1250 Chinese whisky bottles were seized from the suspect following the arrest.
The Chinese national was arrested after 60 whisky bottles were discovered in the car during an inspection carried out by the police following a tip-off.
The remaining bottles were discovered at the suspect's residence following questioning.
